Long-term relationship Vs Casual dating. Know what kind of attraction you have for your partner

The difference between dating and a relationship to a certain point is the expectation levels. Many of us don't have clarity on both, and we create expectations of a relationship from dating.

A long-term relationship involves a lot of compatibility and chemistry. It takes quality time and communication to build a relationship, whereas casual dating is more about chemistry. Even though the actions are faster in dating than in a relationship, it also takes time to build.

If you are attracted to a person then before labeling your attraction as a dating or relationship, it is crucial to understand what kind of attraction you have for that person to build chemistry or compatibility.

So, let's talk about 5 different kinds of attractions-

1. Physical attraction

If you find a guy/girl hot or you like a person because of their external appearance, it's called a physical attraction. Being physically attracted to someone is one of the most natural and instinctive human attractions.

2. Financial attraction

Financial attraction is not limited to being attracted to a person's wealth. If you are attracted to someone who has fame and earned many achievements in his/her life, it's also referred to as financial attraction.

3. Mental attraction

When you connect mentally with a person, you like talking with them for hours and feel good in their presence. Even after having two different personalities if your bond gets stronger with time, it means you've built a mental attraction with that individual.

"Physical, financial, and mental attractions are three parts of Chemistry. If you find these things going well, it will help you build dating."

4. Emotional attraction

Having an emotional attraction to an individual doesn't mean that person is emotional for you or for the relationship. It's largely about how that person is in his/her life.If you are a less emotional person, then building a relationship with an emotional person might add balance to it and vice-versa.

5. Spiritual attraction

Spiritual attraction is not related to liking a person's religion and religious beliefs. The core quality of a person to whom you are spiritually attracted is his/her values. It's important to understand that having a person of values will also help impart values to your relationship.

"Emotional and spiritual attractions are two essential parts of compatibility. If you want to get into a long-term relationship, it needs to have emotional and spiritual balance to sustain for a lifetime."
