Self-love is a need not a desire. The day you understand that self-love is your necessity that is the time you get what you desire. To achieve your desires, you need to love yourself more than anyone else.

Self-love is a mix of self-respect when it comes to your relationship no matter with whom. 

Most of us realize the importance of self-respect when our relations are on the verge of breakup. We get so swamped in the honeymoon phase of our relationship that self-respect comes at the end of the picture. We consciously ignore the setbacks at the beginning and later on we try to seek self-love in the format of self-respect. Don't leave your self-respect even by an inch if you don't want to watch youtube videos on self-love after the breakup.

- It's self-discipline when it comes to a relationship with you and yourself. 

Self-love is a mix of self-discipline when it's in relation to your outer and inner being. For example, if you have planned to make a habit of waking up at 7 am every morning and you are following it with no excuse, it's called self-discipline. This is what self-love is because you know the reason you are waking up is giving you exponential benefits in the future so you will maintain the discipline.

How to bring I bring self-discipline into my life?

If you want to achieve anything in life you have to be disciplined. What you aspire to be in the future, you have to start imagining that self-disciplined version of you in your present. By seeing yourself in that picture, you will get an innate push to work for it in your present.

- It's self-control when it comes to your relationship with your addictions.

Self-love encompasses self-control over your addictions. You can overcome your addictions by making contrary habits. If you have an addiction to smoking, then develop a routine of exercising. It will lead you to understand that you are getting tired quickly because of smoking. If you have a habit of binge-watching Netflix late at night, make a habit of sleeping early to wake up early in the morning.When you will start having a grasp on your contrasting habits, and notice great results, you will eventually overcome your addictions.

- It's self-evaluation when it comes to your relationship with your future. 

Self-love is the opposite of self-hate. If you want to achieve something in the future but in present, if you don't have the roadmap to reach there, you wouldn't be able to achieve it and will end up hating yourself. If you want to achieve your goal, then make a plan and evaluate yourself today to align with your future.

- It's self-realization when it comes to your relationship with your past.

Self-realization means comparing your past with the present and taking lessons from it. It is self-love when you have the self-realization of the mistakes you did in the past because it will save you from repeating the mistakes and hurting yourself.

How can I practice self-realization?

Before going to bed take out 15 minutes to sit with yourself and analyze what wrong things you did today apart from good things. This will give you the chance for self-realization.

If you believe in yourself, then you can self-love every day. You will be able to gain self-respect from people or remove people who don't have respect for you if you have self-belief. You will be able to live a self-disciplined life if you have self-belief. You will be able to gain self-control over your addictions if you have self-belief. You will be able to evaluate your future in proportion to the present if you have self-belief. You will be able to have self-realizations from your past if you have self-belief. Self-belief has to stay with you daily because that is when you will be able to self-love.

One has to practice self-love daily and not only in bad times. Self-love is not about thinking you are perfect. It is about thinking that you are good to be perfect one day.
